Fike Girls Take Rose

Fike girls varsity opened up the season with a solid win over JH (Greenville) Rose. A win over a stellar 4-A school is always a good opener. The lady demons got goals from Elery Williams, Phoenix Riley, Lindsey Rhyne, and an own goal. Coach Varacchi is pleased with the win and excited to see where this team will go. “I can’t wait to see what this team can do once we get a few games under our belt, Varacchi stated.” With a solid freshman class, great transfers, and numerous veterans, this team could be a force in the Big East conference. “Opening up the season with Rose is always going to be a good benchmark for your team to see where you stand. It hadn’t been easy for anyone to get in quality practice sessions with the wet weather and wet fields. We have solid transfers, a good freshman class, and two solid transfers, Varacchi said.” Fike will travel to DH Conley Monday.
