Lady Demons Get Win On Senior Night

After losing for the first time last week, the Fike High Volleyball team bounces back with a win over Northern Nash in four games. Caroline Abrams stepped up to fill a void when Senior Laura Bland suffered a knee injury midway through the first game. “I think they knew what we had to do tonight and how important this game was,�? Blackmon said. “With Caroline Abrams stepping in, she played a huge role and did well in keeping the team going. We kept on going with what we had. (Bland) was a tough loss.�? Breyonna Brown had 21 service points and 12 kills while sophomore Rachel Garrou added 15 digs. Junior setter Riley Bane had a triple-double with 26 assists, 13 digs and 10 kills.
