Fike Falls For First Time

The Fike High volleyball team’s undefeated streak ends at 17. Their undefeated recorded was spoiled by Rocky Mount in the pivotal fifth game. Senior Laura Bland led the way with 16 kills and 15 digs while junior Riley Bane posted 25 assists. “It was heartbreaking,” said coach Cassie Blackmon of her teams first loss. The lady Demons are back on their home court Tuesday as they welcome Northern Nash.
